It is also effective against fungi that are sensitive to antifungal drugs such as penicillin, and it is used in the treatment of various skin and soft tissue infections. It is an anti-fungal drug that is known to be effective against a wide range of fungi including dermatophytes, moulds, yeasts, and certain other fungal species. It is also used in the treatment of fungal infections of the mouth and throat (including fungal of the ear, throat and pharynx). Lamisil AT 1% Cream is applied to the infected area where the fungus is present. It is a topical cream that penetrates the infected skin and is effective against the growth of a large number of fungi.

Sun Protection Measures

Lamisil AT 1% Cream should not be applied to skin above 30 cm from the surface of the skin, as this will reduce its effectiveness. Wash your hands before and after application. Directions

Apply Lamisil Spray once a day for 7 days

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of the skin

2. Hold the bottle upright or upside down, and spray sufficient amount to wet the treatment area thoroughly, covering the affected skin and surrounding area

3. If you need to apply Lamisil® Spray between your toes, fingers or buttocks; under a breast or armpit; or in the groin region, cover the area with gauze after the spray has been applied. This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Precautions
